We send the exact CSV format. You run one export from Gingr's admin and drop the files into a secure upload link. No screen-shares, no support tickets, no waiting on Togetherwork.

10 minutes

Drop into TailRoster's migration agent.

The agent maps customers, pets, reservation history, vaccine records, and package balances. Stripe customer IDs come across intact so saved cards keep working. You see a full diff before anything goes live.

Run both side by side for a week.

Your staff trains on TailRoster while Gingr keeps taking real bookings. Bookings made in either system sync. When you're confident, we help you cutover and flip Gingr to read-only.

The hard questions

What about my historical data?: Everything comes with you — customers, pets, vaccine records with expiry dates, reservation history, package balances, deposits, and recurring schedules. You get a full diff to review before cutover, and a snapshot we can roll back to for 30 days after.
Will my staff revolt?: No. The calendar is a drag-drop single pane, the reservation editor is one screen, and check-in is two taps. The operators we've moved over tell us new hires get productive faster on TailRoster than veterans were on Gingr.
What if I want to go back to Gingr?: Then you go back. There's no lock-in. Your data is exportable as standard CSV at any time, your Stripe account is yours, and you can keep your Gingr subscription paused during the parallel-run week so the door stays open.
Do you handle the Gingr cancellation paperwork?: Yes. We provide a cancellation letter template and the exact email address it needs to go to. Most operators send it the day after cutover. We've never had a customer get stuck.
What about my Gingr add-ons — POS, Mailchimp, Birdeye?: POS is built in — receipts, retail, tipping, all of it. Lifecycle email and SMS replace Mailchimp. Review mining and auto-reply replace Birdeye. You stop paying for three add-on subscriptions on day one.
